In the spirit of becoming a bit more organized and doing a simple thing called “meal planning” – I had my Mushroom Chicken Pot Pie on the menu tonight. This is a pot pie that is made primarily in a slow cooker (but has to be finished off in the oven). The original recipe can be found here. Rebecca over at A little Bit of Momsense also tried the recipe tonight – but rather than using the puff pastry, she topped her pot pie with homemade biscuits! Yum!

The Apple Store phoned today – it appears that the fan noise being emitted from my iMac is actually my hard drive failing – WELL YAY! Luckily everything is covered by Apple Care and the repair will be of no cost to me. About twenty minutes after I hung up the phone with the “Genius Room”, they called again to say my Macbook was ready. It now has a new keyboard cover and it all better! Very thankful to have at least one computer back!
After work I went for a workout at Goodlife – I did a 10 minute mile followed by a few upper body weights. But – time was up and I had to go pick up Max. I did notice a few more people at the gym today, always a good sign!
Well since I worked out – why not make a pie! Yes – I baked a pie and completed #2 on my 52 things list!
