Three Things Thursday

Three Things Thursday!

I missed a few of these over the holidays – but here we are again with another three things Thursday!

Thing #1 – Egg McMuffin vs. Breakfast Sandwich

I just tried a sample of the Starbucks egg and breakfast sandwich – Not my cup of tea at all! The McDonald’s Egg McMuffin (with bacon!!!) is far superior. The egg actually tastes real and not like a processed egg sandwich.

Thing #2 – Everything but blowing kisses

Max is starting to become more and more like a little man every day. His newest thing is copying whatever hand movements I make. Last night we were practicing the ‘screaming face’ pose – too funny (sorry no pictures). He can also wave, put his hand on his head and pat his tummy. He will not blow kisses…..

Thing #3 – Weather weirdness

Although this seems to happen every year – we are going to have a warm spell this weekend. Something like 9-11 degrees and rain?!?  It is going to be a slushy mess here in Ottawa where our snow piles are over 5 feet tall….

The Egg McMuffin (especially in Canada…because they use a real egg and not something from a carton or from a powder) is the king of breakfast sandwiches. English muffin: good. Egg: good. Bacon: GOOOOOOD. And somehow, the processed cheese slice works too. Must be because the rest of it is so good.
In the States though, it is some sort of strange “egg concoction” and I don’t like it. But it is still better than the crappy Sbux sandwich.

I could eat one every day – so tasty!

That one piece of Starbucks crap sandwich made my tummy hurt 🙁

It has been very mild in Chicagoland this year also. We still haven’t had any accumulation of snow (a few days with flurries though). My kids are begging to go sledding, so I hope we get some soon!!

This is the first year in awhile we have had this much snow. I think we were seeing grass at this point last year

    agreeeed about the egg mcmuffin!

It is a definite warm spell where I am too! Crazy. I’m not complaining though, this is my perfect “winter”!

I’m from Mississauga – Toronto is always in a ‘warm spell’ to me now – Ottawa is so cold!
