Hello? Is this thing on?

Hola!

It appears I have fallen off the blog-universe – but I am here! I have not posted in about a week. Things have been super busy. As I mentioned, I started another contract job on Thursday and because of the nature of the job, I don’t really have time to sit and write as much as I did when I was just a supply teacher. On Thursday night, I had track as usual. This weekend was all about track as I completed my training to be a  “trained” club coach in sprints/hurdles (full certification happens a bit later). I want to discuss that experience in a full post, as it was definitely a memorable weekend!

On top of all this – I have a presentation tomorrow in my night class. So therefore once I was home and had dinner last night after 3 days of classes, I was back at it on my computer completing the presentation. I have to meet up with my group at OttawaU tonight, which I am not too happy about as this means I have to drag Max downtown and it throws a few things off. Oh the joys of group work!

I also have to read everyone’s blogs…….

Here is a cute picture Max – wearing my headband…again (he puts it on by himself)

Tell me something about your weekend 🙂

I blog at Ottawa Mommy Club on occasion and I just reviewed a stuffy nightlight that Max has in his bed now. You can check out the review here – there is a giveaway involved!

My weekend involved report cards (ughhh!) and lots of Dr.Who (yeah!). How is that for a weekend?
Wanted to let you know – though I know your evening schedule is crazy – there is a 5k “Fill the Kettle Run” at the Bank St, Running Room on Wed. Dec. 4th. Registration is a donation to the Salvation Army, there will be medals and food. I’m thinking of doing it if I can get my butt in gear on a Wednesday night.

report cards = yuck! Especially since I think you are in elementary? Those report cards are killer!

I *could* potentially do that 5K – but would have to bring Max in the chariot! I will think about it!

My weekend was a nice balance between busy and relaxing. I ate a lot of ice cream straight from the carton, snuggled a lot, and watched a few movies.

Awe, Max is adorable. Love that he puts this on himself 🙂
My weekend was spent looking for a house. Exhausting and exhilarating at once!
