Shopping List for Trader Joes + Canada Food Giveaway

I have just spent the past 30 minutes or so not doing grad school work and instead writing a list of Trader Joe items for my parents to pick up while they are in Florida. I really wish there was a Trader Joe’s closer than 4 hours away as so many of the refrigerated and frozen products look so tasty. I really want to try the sweet potato tater tots as those are up my junk food alley. I haven’t found anything resembling that in Canada yet.

The list I have come up with so far is:

– All flavours of cookie butter

– Sea Salt and Turbinado sugar covered almonds

– Joe-Joes

– Pistachio Dark chocolate toffees

– Peanut Butter Pretzels

– Sriracha sauce

– whatever flavour of salsa my parents pick up.

Just because we do not have cool grocery stores in Canada, does not mean we do not have our own tasty products. So – as promised – GIVEAWAY TIME!!

This is more geared towards my American Friends, but Canadian friends are still welcome to enter πŸ™‚

I miss Tim Horton’s! We had them in MI, but not out here in AZ!!!
    Trader Joe’s… AHHHHH
I haven’t shopped there often enough to have tried many more things than what you have listed. It’s probably hard to get the dressings to you, too, since they have to be refrigerated, right?
    $3 Chuck wine?!

I think you just have to refrigerate after opening? I’m not the biggest salad eater though πŸ™

Don’t even get me started about prices of wine and beer in the states. I saw $2 wine at walmart last time I was in the States – totally unheard of in Canada. Lowest price I’ve ever seen is about $8.

I wish we had TJ’s here! Closest one is 3 hours away. Favorite food from my location, which is the South…I guess it’s pretty cliche but we know how to do BBQ here in Memphis!

You do! My parent’s friends opened up their own BBQ in Toronto based on southern BBQ restaurants. So goooood!

Trader Joes should be everywhere! So jealous of people who have one in their neighbourhood!

Everything that you have put on your TJ’s list is what I would choose πŸ˜€ I also love their root vegetable chips…so delicious. I really love Dark Chocolate Pomegranates, but yesterday, I fell in love with coconut chia granola. SO GOOD! This giveaway is so fun!

I am in love with Prairie Girl cupcakes, they are massive to begin with and taste like heaven. That’s how I carbo-load for an upcoming race.

I love certain types of Asian fruits that we can only get in Asia or pay outrageously expensive prices for here in the U.S. (like dragonfruit). Fresh Belgian truffles are pretty darn good, too. πŸ™‚
