This will be a quick one as I’m typing this on my iPad on the way to Canada’s Wonderland. More on the track meet later this week!
In terms of my bone scan, the doctor did say I could run as long as it didn’t hurt, which is doesn’t. So as long as everything stays OK, running will continue.
Week 3 was a week I knew would be tough because of travel. Going away to a track meet means I don’t have time to run. I only managed one run – but hoping to get a run in if the hotel has a treadmill.
Training this week:
Monday – off as we were travelling
Tuesday – 5K chariot run with Max in about 34:00 (no watch)
Wednesday – 3K in 17:00 in the rain
Thursday – 6K in 42:00 with Max in the chariot
Friday – 3k in 20:00 around the Windsor waterfront
Total KM – 17
I’m off a bit this week as it became evident on Saturday that I wasn’t going to be able to run. On Sunday I decided to rest as on Saturday my legs were not 100%. I ran 4 days in a row which is uncommon, so I was feeling it a bit. However if the hotel has a treadmill, I may try and get some more Km in before we go to Wonderland
