Happy Tuesday!
I thought it was Monday all day – whoops. Yesterday was Family Day in Ontario, which means no school for me! Friday was a PD day, so the students had the day off, and I only had a half day (I’m only a part-time teacher). This weekend was brutally cold and therefore we stayed in most of the weekend. That and Max had some sort of cold. Sunday was the annual Winterman races downtown and I tip my hat to anyone who attempted that race on Sunday morning. It was so very cold and windy.
What I did do this weekend was, go to track practice (On a Saturday – shocking!) and eat lots of food. Valentines Day was on Saturday, and for me that means Heart Shaped Pizza day. So delicious
P also stopped by the store on his way home and bought Kettle Chips and cheese + baguette. I still haven’t had the cheese yet, but maybe tomorrow!
One of P’s student’s parents made an amazing Cheesecake and gave us (me) a few slices of it. Everything about it was delicious.
I also made myself a giant plate of nachos, topped with chili and avocado. In case you are wondering, yes I did eat the whole thing myself.
I also discovered toast + cookie butter. I feel like I’ve been missing out this whole time. I usually have my cookie butter with graham crackers or apples. I thought toast would be gross. It wasn’t! I may have had a few slices….
Speaking of Cookie Butter and Trader Joes – I GET TO GO TO TRADER JOES IN A MONTH!
Which is a good thing, because I am running low on cookie butter after this weekend…..
But it was back to work today – and it was a busy day! I’m also in the middle of planning for my first track and field high school season in 2 years. Last year I did not coach a high school team, and the last time I did, I had *just* started with the competitive team. Now I know so much more, and I’m carefully planning the season. Can’t wait!
Speaking of running – tomorrow, I am going to see the advanced screening of McFarland! I scored tickets on twitter and picked them up on Friday. I’m sure it will be a great film!
Time to make dinner – have a great night!

Be sure to post about the movie. I’m wondering if it would be good for the kids, haven’t checked the rating yet.

I’m legit starving, and looking at all those pictures of food is not helping hahaha. Methinks I need an early lunch. Maybe pizza.
