My hair is pretty boring. It does absolutely nothing but fall from my head – no curls, no bounce, nothing. At least I don’t have too many grey hairs, right? My hair is as straight as straight can be and lacks volume and the ability to hold a style. Even the days that I curl my hair, the curls fall by the end of the day. I don’t really style my hair that much and I prefer to let my hair air dry. Forget braiding my hair – no idea how to do that!
See? No Curls stay on my head!
A better hair day – but still limp hair!
I was selected by Influenster to receive a Fibralogy VoxBox. Fibralogy is a line of hair products by L’Oreal that increases the thickness of your hair. The products I was given to try were: shampoo, thickness booster and conditioner. It is supposed to take about 5 shampoos to feel the full effects of the products.
When washing your hair, you shampoo with the Fibralogy shampoo first in the usual way. The shampoo smelled really nice! Then, you have to apply a dime-sized amount of Thickness booster to your hair. This can be a bit tricky as I found the thickness booster to be very liquidy and pour out of the tube fairly fast. When you apply the thickness booster, you do not rinse it out. When I applied the booster, my hair definitely felt different: almost a bit more coarse. The conditioner goes on next and then you rinse both the booster and conditioner off.
I am only on shampoo #3 with the Fibralogy products so I don’t think the full effects of the products are that noticeable yet. I have noticed that my hair has more shine and I’ve had 3 good hair days in a row. The next thing I would like to try is blow drying my hair to see if it can maintain some volume. What I have noticed so far is that my hair appears to be fuller, without the use of styling product and that my hair doesn’t fall flat right away. My hair also smells pretty good too!
Has anyone else tried the Fibralogy products?
Do you suffer from limp hair too?
I was given the Fibralogy products in a Voxbox from Influenster to try. I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own
