Another Thinking Out Loud Thursday – linking up with Amanda at Running with Spoons.
#1 Top 100 Running Blog?!
Cascia at Healthy Moms wrote an email to me saying I was included in her list of top 100 Running Blogs – super cool! Some of you are included as well 🙂
#2 Speaking of that…
Who are all of you anyways? Amanda at Run to the Finish wrote a delurking post, wondering about who all her readers were. My blog is very small compared to hers. Although I do know some of you, and can see locations to a certain degree – there are a few of you who do visit my blog regularly and I’m not sure who you are. I’m genuinely curious about who visits and reads my posts. So – who are all of you? Where are you from? Why do you read my blog 🙂
#3 When looking at new homes
I’ve mentioned that we are renovating our house in preparation to sell and move to a bigger, detached(!) home in the summer/fall. We have already looked at a number of homes, but stalling right now because we want to get our current home a bit closer to being finished. One thing going on right now is that we are down to one shower/bath upstairs (first world problems….) which leads me to one thing I actually don’t want in a new home: double sinks. I’ve watched many episodes of house hunters and so many people want double sinks. Am I the only one thinks bathroom time is alone time and doesn’t like brushing their teeth with someone else in the room?
I do hope for space for a treadmill. That would make things so much easier! Especially if I actually work full time next year. That and a mudroom/extra entrance to our home. We have a front door and a garage door. Our garage door is broken and you cannot open it when it is closed. Our garage entry door is also right next to the main door – so when you go and tile your front entrance, you realize quite quickly that you cannot leave without leaving the patio door unlocked (which cannot be unlocked from the outside). FUN
#4 I’ve already had too much
#5 Snow Day…again!
I’m currently finishing up this post in an empty classroom. Another bus cancellation day for us! We never actually close schools here unlike places like Mississauga and Oakville. Hopefully this is the last one. I hope the students enjoy their extra long weekend as we are going into the 2 months of no breaks stretch. I’m hoping that whatever snow we get melts this weekend. The Ottawa River Path is *this* close to being snow-free. All the sidewalks are clear! It makes running outdoors so much easier!
#6 Did you watch Better Call Saul this week?
I won’t spoil it if you haven’t (I only watched last weeks on Tuesday) but that turning point scene at the halfway point? Hand clapping and possibly a bit of hiding under my covers (kidding…). The scene was, in the visual sense, well done. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the season goes.
Alrighty – time to do some work. Have a great Thursday and Easter long weekend!
